"Being the Light" through Courageous Advocacy

 
At Grampound with Creed, we are proud to be courageous advocates. Our pupils are encouraged and supported to explore how they can be the light in the world. We are passionate about making a difference and demonstrate the courage we develop during our time here to stand up tall and speak out when we need to make a difference. We want to take action on injustice and strive to make a difference not only in the local community but also the wider world. Here are some great ways they have shone their light to make a difference...
November 2022 - The school raised £50 for Children in Need.
July 2022 - We held a successful School Fete and we raised £425. Thank you to the PFA for organising the fete!
March 2022 - The school raised £120 for Comic Relief.
January 2022 - William has been selling copies of his very own comic ‘Spider-Man vs the Rhino’ in order to raise money for the British Heart Foundation!
December 2021 - Thank you to everyone who donated a Christmas box or items for the boxes. We collected 23 Cornwall Christmas Boxes ready for delivery to families in Cornwall.
December 2020 - This Christmas, the school supported the Cornwall Christmas Box Appeal. The school collected 49 boxes which were donated by families, staff and the wider community.
2019 - Evie & James held a Easter cake sale to raise money for the British Hen Welfare Trust on Tuesday last week.  Thank you to everyone who bought a cake, as the sale raised £45 for their charity. 
2019 - Connie & Kayna held a Sweet Sale after our Easter Eucharist Service in aid of Cancer Research and Young Carers. They raised £86 which will be shared between the charities and would like to thank everyone who supported them.
